A silent-bid auction is a type of auction process in which all bidders simultaneously submit online bids to the auction house so that no bidder knows how much the other auction participants have bid. The bids are not revealed until the stated date, at which time all bids are announced. The highest bidder will be declared the winner of the bidding process.
